bummis diaper wraps

prefold diapers

Once there was a mommy that saw something strange.

"What sort of cloth like diaper are you putting on your child?", She asked her friend.

"This is a cloth diaper and cover system", answered the friend.

"No way", said the mommy. People don't use cloth diapers any more, I couldn't stand rinsing them out in the toilet either!!

The friend explained to the mommy how cloth diapers had changed and the mommy decided to check them out. Off to Target, off to TRU and she bought what she found.

Wow, this stuff leaks she though, why would the friend use cloth diapers? The friend was nice enough to let the mommy try out her covers. Ah! that's better the mommy thought.

"I wonder where I can find more cloth diapering supplies", thought the mommy. (This was 1995 by the way and the vast cloth diapering online world that we now enjoy did not exist.) So the mommy bought what she could find online and thanks in large part to Proraps Classics  the mommy was able to cloth diaper her oldest son until he was potty trained.

At about that time the mommy was going to become a mommy again and she needed newborn cloth diapers and covers. Back online she went to be greeted with many more online choices. "Good stuff", she thought.

Then the manufacturer that the mommy worked part time for closed and the mommy decided to open her own online cloth diapering business. It was BabyJ for a couple of years until a nasty corporation with a similar sounding trademarked name sent the mommy a nasty letter.

The mommy's idea was and still is to provide as much information about the products as possible and make it easier for moms and dads to figure out what was right for them.

The cast in this tale: The mommy - Jeanne (me), The oldest son - Michael, The second child - Samantha, My friend Kay who without her help I would probably have gone back to work instead getting into cloth and starting this business.

I see many cloth diapering websites that say that the products that they carry have 'Worked for us!". Well I have a slightly different idea, I think that the products should work for you. My family has tried most of the products that we carry but, your child is shaped differently and has a different 'output' than my kids. I do lots of investigating before deciding that a product deserves valuable space in my warehouse. Then you get as much information as I can come up with about a product so you can decide if it is right for you.

The product line has changed over the years as we drop things that don't work as well as we had hoped, don't sell well and in one case we felt that the manufacturer did not behave in an ethical manner and we stopped doing business with them. Your suggestions are always welcome as we look for other great products to carry.
