Kissaluvs contour (aka, "shaped") diapers give you quality fabrics and terrific fit over a wide size range. The contour diapers are hourglass shaped with a uniquely sewn-in booster/soaker.

An economical alternative to fitted diapers, contours are easy to use. Just place in the cover, fold up the wings and fasten the cover. The long wings also give you the option of pinning or "snappi"ing the diaper for use under any type of cover or wrap. The diaper can be folded down at the front to accommodate different rises.

Kissaluvs contour diapers have two layers of their wonderful cotton fleece paired with either a sewn-in Booster doubler (size NB/S) or a twice-the-weight Super Soaker doubler (size M/L). The Booster liner has one layer of unbleached cotton fleece and one layer of unbleached knit terry. The Super Soaker has one layer of cotton fleece and two layers of unbleached knit terry for extra absorbency.

We didn't put waist and leg measurements like with the fitted and all in one diapers. Since these diapers are just placed in the cover and do not have to be fastened, you just need a diaper cover that fits. I have been doing a lot of matching the contour diaper size to different sized covers. What I have found is that the N/S diapers fit into the newborn and small sized covers no matter what the brand. The M/L diapers fit into most medium, large and extra large covers.

Kissaluvs diapers are known for quality fabrics and terrific fit. The unbleached cotton fleece is a luxuriously deep-pile fabric made especially for Kissaluvs. It is soft, absorbent, very stretchy and exceptionally durable. 100% brushed cotton surface. A touch of poly (10%) in the base adds durability, and knit construction ensures that only cotton touches baby's skin. These diapers have elasticized leg and back openings to contain messes and floods. All sizes have durable plastic snaps and let you overlap the wings to get a great fit on even the thinnest baby. The extra-stretchy elastic gives an easy, snug fit without binding.

Kissaluvs seem to fit most kids well, mostly because the fabric stretches so much that there is almost infinite adjustments in the size ranges. There is a bit of polyester in the base of the fabric so the diapers will not shrink very much when they are washed. The fleecy part that touches your baby is all unbleached cotton.

Size 0 is trimmed in matching thread. Size 1 in purple thread and Size 2 in green thread.

Kissaluvs are unique in the cloth diapering realm, soft, stretchy and absorbent. If you are into fitted diapers or need something that people who are not familiar with cloth diapers will find easy to use give Kissaluvs a try.

Size 0 is specially made to actually fit a newborn. It has a snap down feature in the front so that your baby's umbilical cord can heal without being irritated. After the cord heals you can unsnap the front and use the second row of snaps as your baby grows.

The inside soaker layers are made with a layer of woven cotton to provide stability and to distribute wetness all throughout the diaper. There are also two additional layers of Kissaluvs super thick terry inside. This is not skimpy 'baby' terry. It is the same super thick and absorbent terry that they use on the outside of the diapers and their fleece/terry liners.

The super soaker Kissaluvs washable liners will not fit into the size 0 diapers, but the booster size will.

Like most fitted diapers these work best with pull up style diaper covers. For newborns and up the Bummi Pant fits well. Depending on your baby, you may be able to use the Prorap Classic or the Bummi Super. Just make sure (especially on your newborn) that all of the diaper is tucked into the cover.

Like all unbleached/natural fabrics these diapers need to be washed in hot water before they will become absorbent. The manufacturer recommends that they are washed and dried at least four times before initial use. They will continue to get more absorbent the more that they are washed until they are totally broken in.

Kissaluvs have a lifetime snap attachment policy. If a snap ever comes off, they will fix it free of charge.

When trying to decide upon a diaper size, start with the suggested weights and then see if the waist, leg and rise measurements of your baby fall into the range. Check the rise on the diaper that you are interested in, it will help in being more accurate on where the waist on that diaper will fall on your child and if it will fit into the cover that you want to use. If you start with the measurements you may end up with a cover that is way too big. For all the fitted diapers, you are looking for waist and leg measurements that fall in about the same place in the range. The smallest leg measurements were taken when the cover was fastened on the smallest waist setting. If your baby’s waist measurement is on the lower end of the range and the leg measurement is on the higher end of the range, the diaper may be too tight at the legs.

Made from one layer of super soft unbleached organic 55% hemp/45% cotton fleece. These wipes are a 9.5"x7.5" oval. Hemp is naturally antibacterial and very durable. Main fabric is a natural unbleached color and serged in a variety of colors.

Keep at the changing table or in the car with a bottle of Lotion Potion for easy diaper changes. More economical than disposable wipes, these wipes can be washed with your diapers.

The Booster liner has one layer of cotton fleece in a variety of colors and one layer of unbleached knit terry for a soft absorbent liner. Fits into most diapers and covers including size 0 Kissaluvs and most newborn diapers. Tapered for an easy fit. About 11" x 4"-at widest point.

The Super Soaker has one layer of cotton fleece in a variety of colors and two layers of unbleached knit terry for extra absorbency. About 12.5" x 5".

These liners (like all unbleached cotton products) need to be washed at least four times before use to become absorbent and ready to use. They will become more absorbent the more that they are washed.

Fuzzi Bunz pocket covers (pocket diapers) are made from an inner layer of a high quality, lightweight 100% breathable poly fleece and an outer layer of stretchable polyester with a polyurethane laminate. The two layers form a pocket to place a prefold diaper or other absorbent insert into. This ensures that ALL wetness is kept away from your baby's tender skin. Fuzzi Bunz cloth diaper covers will not pill (get ugly little balls) or stain. Fuzzi Bunz fasten with two rows of plastic snaps (six snaps on top and eight at the leg) and are very adjustable to fit your baby's growing needs. The waist and leg adjustments can be made independently of each other. When combined with a prefold diaper Fuzzi Bunz are used as an all-in-one cloth diaper no additional diaper cover is needed.

A cotton pre-folded diaper, hemp prefold or other absorbent liner is placed inside a pocket making a "diaper sandwich". When your baby wets, the urine goes through the layer of fleece and is wicked away and absorbed by the cloth diaper inside. The fleece almost immediately dries leaving your baby feeling dry even for long periods of time.

When your Fuzzi Bunz get soiled, they need to be changed just as any other All on One diaper (after each use). Wash your Fuzzi Bunz separately from your diapers just as any other diaper cover. Your fitted diapers probably won't fit inside the Fuzzi Bunz.

For a slightly trimmer fit try the Bumkins washable liners, Joey-Bunz, Micro Terry Diapers instead of prefolds for extra absorbency.

How to put a prefold in your Fuzzi Bunz.

Diaper Cover Quick Guide

What is a pocket diaper? - Basically it is a diaper cover with a pocket to put a diaper (or other absorbent liner) into. The pocket is made out of one layer of fleece (that faces your baby) and one layer of PUL (waterproof material) on the outside. Your diaper (or liner) goes in between the fleece and PUL. When your baby wets, the pee goes through the fleece, gets absorbed by the diaper inside and the PUL keeps everything else dry. They are also referred to as All in One diapers since your child should only use them once before they need to be changed. Fuzzi Bunz are really a cover though - remember that you have to add the diaper/insert to them before you use them on your baby.

• The extra small is good for small newborns (preemies) until about four months. They will fit average newborns for a month or two. They are available in white, butter, pink, sage and baby blue only.
• Newborns usually need a size small. The smalls will last until they are anywhere from 4-8 months depending your baby's growth.
• Mediums will fit baby's with either small or large thighs. They will fit baby's from 6 months to 24 months or longer.
• Petite Toddlers will fit baby's that are more slender. They have the same rise as the larges, but with smaller waist and thighs. They are not necessarily a size inbetween medium and large. They will fit baby's from 12 months to 3+ years.
• Larges will generally not start fitting your baby until at the very least 12 months and are of average size.
• Extra Large are a BIG diaper cover made specially for toddlers with very large builds or older children.

Please try Fuzzi Bunz on your baby with the inserts/diapers stuffed inside that you intend to use. You may need a larger size at night if you intend to use more than one prefold.

The Bummis Whisper Pant has the same soft waterproof fabric (nylon) as the Bummis Original. Not the stretchy fabric of Bummis Super Whisper Wrap. The lycra binding at the waist and legs are super soft and won't leave marks on your baby. This pant fits well with the Kissaluvs, Kushies Classic and Kushies Basic.

Going by the weight chart, you may think that you can fit your newborn into the small cover. For almost all newborns, the legs on the small are going to be way too big and you will be better off getting the newborn size. It is also ideal for those people who prefer to pin their diapers or use a Snappi.
