Author: kevangelisti@... These are my favorite covers! Easy to put on, and they keep in leaks!
|
Author: devore99@... My son is 1 year old (average size and wetter) and I've used proraps since he was about 2 weeks old, with prefolds. They have worked wonderfully and are inexpensive.

Author: chester@... These have been my favorite covers on both of my kids (one thinner, the other more chubby). I like them because they are economical and I can use them with my fitted diapers and my prefolds. The fabric seems a little thicker than some of the other covers that I have seen, but it does not seem like they get too much hotter.

Author: melanie_n_ringo@... I used these on my newborn once he was big enough for the size small. I used them with prefolds. My son is a heavy wetter and they sometimes leaked from the sides or top. As a new mom, I accepted this as normal since the disposables leaked in the same areas as well. Little did I know my son has thin legs compared to the average chubbier baby. The Bumkins are a much better choice for thin legs as are Pampers Swaddlers for when you need disposables. Overall, the quality and value of the diapers is good and as long as your baby isn t thin.

Author: jstaraitis@... We like them. They seem durable. They don't get as hot as old fashioned plastic pants. They hold in the wet, and the messy. At 6 weeks, my son needs doublers for the night, and a larger cover to hold them plus the prefold. The elastic sometimes leaves a red mark, and the umbilical notch just caused bleeding until his belllybutton was healed.

Author: Cheryl Great covers. We use with Kissaluvs fitted, contour and also prefold with no leaks. The gussets really hold in what the diapers don't. Our baby is skinny and fits her well. The umbilical notch still rubbed the stump but our baby might be just smaller than average.

Author: Rachel (Milwaukee, WI) We have used these diapers in 3 sizes. The least expensive is sometimes the best. I really like the newborn umbilical cut-out. That said, I have only two complaints: the rise is *very* long, and the laminate stains easily. At 4 1/2 months, my son seems to be pretty average sized - not real chubby, not real thin. We moved up to the medium size cover because the waist of the small was too tight, but now I only use them at night with a doubler because the rise is 2" too long. Unlike some other brands, like Bummis for example, the Prorap have only one layer of fabric and one layer of laminate on the inside. No matter how quickly you get it rinsed, the laminate always seems to hold onto poop stains.

Author: Tessa (Russellville, AR) These are very leakproof covers. They are soft and pliable, and can hold a double diaper for those heavy wetters. I love the economical aspect of these covers as well.

Author: Cathi (Ypsilanti, MI) Elastic much too tight! I have an average-sized 1 month old baby who weighs less than 10lbs (she definitely does not have a chubby belly at all), and yet the size small Proraps are too tight around her waist. I had to cut the back elastic in three places in order to keep it from digging into her back. It had been leaving uncomfortable-looking red marks on her back. And they are still too big for her, and leak around her legs, although the gussets are so bumpy they still leave red marks on her thighs. Also, they have a very full bottom, so her prefolds are loose and saggy between her legs. But they are durable and very waterproof.

Author: Sarah (McKinleyville, CA) I've used these wraps in every size with my daughter since she was born (13 months old now, in size large). They are easy to wash (soak in oxiclean, wash regular, hang dry), don't leak mess or moisture, and are the most inexpensive wraps out there. Also, they all still look brand new after extensive use and I'm getting ready to use them again with our expected second baby, and probably hand them down after that. Why spend more?

Author: Tina We used the newborn prowraps with our son and felt that they worked pretty well. We like the large velcro tabs. My husband loved these more than the Bummis Whisper Wrap. We ended up favoring snap covers for the next size up. If I only had velcro covers to chose from we'd buy these again. Great cover, even better price!

Author: Dwan I really like these. I use these and Thisties covers and between the two the Proraps keep the messes in a lot better. I like the higher rise because a lot of time the front of the diaper goes high for us. I use them over prefolds and fitted and they work great with both. I think they do tend to hold in the heat a little, but with regular diaper changes this shouldn't be a problem. Great product, I just order a bunch more. They can be used for more than one child for sure!

Author: Monica Love these covers. Have used them with prefolds since my baby was 6 months old and they keep everything in...the wet & the messy. I like the high rise and the leg gussets. The mediums lasted him until he was well over a year old! Great cover!

Author: Linda I like these covers a lot. They do run very large. My daughter is 3 yrs old, 40 pounds and she's still wearing a large. They are inexpensive and work very well during the day. They are however, useless at night or for long periods with a wet diaper. The wetness seeps through. I use Gerber Vinyl Pants at night which seem to do the trick to keep my kids dry through the night. Proraps are a great cover for daytime though.

Author: Ash These are my favorite diaper covers so far. I have used dappi, bummis and proraps, and by far proraps are the best. They keep in both the wet and the messy. I just ordered the larges now that one of my twins has outgrown the mediums.
