| Kushies diaper wraps are designed to be used with your Kushies Classic
or Basicdiaper. They also work with most fitted diapers. For use
with prefolds, it's better to use a Snappi
to keep the diaper in place. Because they are cut fuller than most diaper covers
they tend to sag a little in the back when used with a prefold diaper that
has not been fastened. Kushies wraps are made out of polyurethane backed nylon which is very durable. They fasten in the front with velcro. The gusseted legs are elastic covered in a soft poly/cotton fabric. Elastic along the back. Machine wash, hang dry. Kushies wraps come to me in presorted packages of prints and solids. Because I get a random assortment, specific color and print choices are not available. Made in Canada. For all the velcro covers, you are looking for waist and leg measurements that fall in about the same place in the range. The smallest leg measurements were taken when the cover was fastened on the smallest waist setting. If your baby’s waist measurement is on the lower end of the range and the leg measurement is on the higher end of the range, the cover will probably be too tight at the legs.

An economical fitted diaper. Made with 2 layers of 100% cotton flannel and a double layer of absorbent poly/rayon soaker material. Not for heavy wetting babies.
The original Kushies diapers are made with eight layers of cotton flannel and a built in waterproof barrier. Cotton outer makes for a soft diaper both inside and out.
I recently purchased and have been using two of these covers and have been very disappointed in them. 1: Moisture wicks through the cover if the diaper gets very wet. 2: This is the big one! After maybe three washes, the lining is pulling away from the taffeta! I am careful to wash all my covers as directed, so it is not like I am rough on them. I had hoped these would work well so I'd have something that might be a little cooler this coming summer, but they will never hold up!
Author: STACYThis is a follow up to my previous review. I was told to contact Kushies to get my covers replace. I have never had better customer service than I had from Kushies! According to Kushies, there was part of one batch of covers in which the taffeta and the lining pulled apart like I experienced. They replaced both of my covers and the new ones work great! I have been using the new ones for about a month now and I have been very happy with them! I did also put the larger sizes that I have through a couple of washings and they do not seem to show signs of the defect, but Kushies said they would replace them if the defect shows up when I start using them. I would now recommend these covers and look forward to using them in the summer!
Author: STACYThey run soooooo small. There is not a difference between the L and XL size. Not only that they fall apart fast. The plastic lining pulls away after a few washes which then renders the cover non-waterproof.
